Private hyphenation rules can be defined for the first time in conjunction with the user dictionaries. The "<*licher>" rule for example prevents the "li-cher" word ending from being hyphenated going forward. For vowels and consonants, placeholders (period and comma) can also be used, e.g., Zei-t.n = Zei-tung or Zei-ten. You can use a comma with consonants, e.g., lo-,en = lo-ben or lo-ten
InDihyph reports hyphenation-point quality in all eligible languages as excellent to acceptable.
Cross~ex~~~~~am~~~ine, Eye~wit~~~ness, Hand~writ~~~ing. One tilde: very good hyphenation; three tildas: still acceptable hyphenation. Hyphenations can also be specified by numbers 1 to 5 instead of by tildas.
The private paragraph composer can specifically control individual paragraphs' appearance. This confers a quality to your documents that was never there before.
Hyphenation-quality assignment integrates into the paragraph palette and the paragraph formats. These are extended with hyphenation quality using InDihyph.
